The Syrian Civil Project e.V. is governed by a General Assembly as its highest decision-making body and by a volunteer Executive Board responsible for the legal representation and operational oversight of the association. All board members serve on an honorary basis and receive no remuneration from the association's funds.

The Syrian Civil Project e.V. is financed through three sources:
Donations and contributions: from private individuals and legal entities in Germany and abroad, received via PayPal, bank transfer, and betterplace.org.
Membership fees and own funds: regular membership fees and direct contributions from members of the association.
Event and partnership revenues: income from community events and cultural activities, as well as in-kind support provided by partner organizations.
All funds received are used exclusively for the statutory purposes of the association. No member or board member derives any personal financial benefit from the association's resources.
The Syrian Civil Project e.V. has no subsidiaries, holdings, or controlling interests in any other legal entity. We operate as an independent registered association.
We maintain cooperative partnerships with civil society organizations in Syria and Germany. These partnerships are based on shared values and project agreements and do not establish any legal or financial dependence.
As of 2025, the Syrian Civil Project e.V. has not received any contributions from a legal entity whose annual payments exceed 10% of our total annual income.
Our current funding base consists exclusively of private individual donations and membership fees. No single donor holds a dominant financial position within our revenue structure.
